You can run many types of campaigns on 4aGoodCause.

Use the guide below to help you make the right choice on the first step of our campaign builder.

See our Campaign Tutorial Videos for more details on setting up campaigns.

Donation Page

This campaign will create a donation page that will allow your organization to accept donations online. Use this campaign when you need to create a "Donate Now" page that links from your website or other communications.

You'll configure three tabs in our step-by-step campaign builder: Campaign Info, Donation Page, and Notifications. Select the following on the first step of our campaign builder.

Crowdfunding

A crowdfunding campaign brings your donors together online to give donations toward a specific initiative with a specific fundraising goal. In this campaign, you'll create both a donation page to accept the online gifts plus a landing page to promote your campaign. The landing page will show your campaign story, a fundraising thermometer and a list of donors and their comments. The call to action on the landing page sends the donor to your donation page.

You'll configure four tabs in our step-by-step campaign builder: Campaign Info, Donation Page, Landing Page, and Notifications. Select the following on the first step of our campaign builder. This campaign does not include peer-to-peer giving. Uncheck that option as you configure your landing page.

Peer-to-Peer

A peer-to-peer campaign is similar to a crowdfunding campaign with the additional option for the public to raise money on your behalf by creating their own fundraiser pages.

In this campaign, you'll create both a donation page to accept the online gifts plus a landing page to promote your campaign. The landing page will show your campaign story, a fundraising thermometer and a list of donors and their comments plus a listing of all the fundraiser pages under that campaign. For a peer-to-peer campaign, your landing page will have two calls to action -- to donate or become a fundraiser. The "Become a Fundraiser" buttons leads the user to create their own fundraising page under your campaign.

Event

Use this campaign type to accept online registration to your events. You can sell tickets, sponsorship or any other items associated with your events. This campaign will create an event page that will allow your organization to accept registrations online. You can accept registration for both paid and free events.  Event pages also accept add-on donations from those registering.

Event + Donations

Give those that cannot attend your event the chance to donate to your campaign with this campaign type. This campaign will create an event page that will allow your organization to accept registrations plus a donation page so those that cannot attend can still donate to the campaign. You'll link to each page separately from your website.

Event + Crowdfunding / Peer-to-Peer

This campaign type includes all the campaign options available on 4aGoodCause. You might choose this if you are hosting an event and want to use our landing page to promote the event or you want to invite event participants to fundraise for you with their own pages.

In this campaign, you'll create an event page to accept online registration, a donation page to accept online gifts plus a landing page to promote your event campaign. The landing page will show your campaign story, a fundraising thermometer and a list of event registrants/donors and their comments plus a listing of all the fundraiser pages under that campaign, should you enable the peer-to-peer option.

For this campaign, your landing page might have three calls to action -- to donate, register or become a fundraiser.

You'll configure five tabs in our step-by-step campaign builder: Campaign Info, Donation Page, Event Page, Landing Page, and Notifications. Select the following on the first step of our campaign builder. This campaign does not have to include peer-to-peer giving. Uncheck that option as you configure your landing page if you don't want it.

Membership or Product Sales

Does your nonprofit need to sell membership or products online? You can do this on 4aGoodCause. Our event pages are set up to be flexible enough for this purpose. In this campaign, you'll be setting up an event page to accept online sales. As you configure your event page you'll uncheck any event specific options such as date, time or location. This will turn our event page into a product order form.
