This article is for nonprofit staff using the 4aGoodCause platform. If you are a donor needing to edit your monthly donation please refer to this help article.

If a donor contacts you needing to cancel their monthly gift, you can do this via your 4aGoodCause nonprofit account or inside your payment gateway.

To cancel an active subscription via 4aGoodCause please follow these steps:

  1. Login to https://4agc.com as a Nonprofit User.
  2. Click Subscriptions in the main left-side menu. 
  3. Find the subscription by using the search box. You can search by name or subscription ID. 
  4. Click the row of the subscription. 
  5. Click the three-dot Menu icon on the right. 
  6. Select Edit.
  7. Click the text link Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the pop-up.
  8. Click Yes, Cancel Subscription.   

To cancel an active subscription via the Authorize.net payment gateway please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Authorize.net Merchant Interface at https://account.authorize.net
  2. Click Recurring Billing in the main left-side menu. 
  3. Click the link to view your Active subscriptions. 
  4. Find the subscription in the list of results. Subscriptions that come from 4aGoodCause are named by the donor's name. 
  5. Click the Subscription ID in the far left column. 
  6. From the ARB Subscription Detail page, click Edit Subscription in the top right corner of the page.
  7. From the Edit Subscription page, click the Cancel Subscription link in the top right corner of the page. A confirmation dialogue box appears. 
  8. Click Yes to continue the cancellation of the subscription or click Cancel if you want to cancel the action.
