You can integrate 4aGoodCause and the Raiser's Edge (RE) platform (both self-hosted and online versions) by using Importacular.

What is Importacular?

Importacular is a free import tool for Raiser’s Edge. It is provided and supported by Zeidman Development. You can use Importacular to easily import gift and constituent data directly from 4aGoodCaiuse into your Raiser's Edge database. 

What does Importacular do?

Importacular allows you to connect to 4aGoodCause and bring data directly into RE.

It offers;

• Completely customizable mapping

• Completely customizable matching criteria

• Import into Bio 1, Bio 2 and Gift for free, with subscriptions for other areas

Is Importacular really free?

Yes, it’s free to import constituent and gift data although you may want to purchase a support plan from Zeidman Development for more help in getting started with the tool. Contact Zeidman Development for more information. 

What data can I import?

You can import all your transactions from 4aGoodCause. This includes both donations and event orders. You can import transactions by date range and by transaction type.  

How to get started

Follow these steps to connect your 4aGoodCause account to Importacular.

Step 1 - Enable the integration and get your API Key.

1. Login to https://4agc.com as a Nonprofit User.

2. Click on Settings on the left menu.

3. Click on Integrations on the left menu.

4. Click the Raiser's Edge integration.

5. Check the box labeled Enable Raiser's Edge integration.

6. Click Save.  

7. Your account is now ready to talk to Importacular. 

8. Please make note of the API Key you see on screen. You'll need that to enable the connection from Importacular.  

Step 2 - Obtain the Importacular import tool and follow the Importacular guides to pull data from 4aGoodCause into RE.

How to disable the Raiser's Edge integration

If you want to disable or just pause the connection between 4aGoodCause and Raiser's Edge follow these steps. This will prevent data from being pulled via Importacular.   

1. Login to https://4agc.com as a Nonprofit User.

2. Click on Settings on the left menu.

3. Click on Integrations on the left menu.

4. Click the Raiser's Edge integration.

5. Deselect the box labeled Enable Raiser's Edge integration.

6. Click Save.
