Stripe is a third-party payment processor. Similar to PayPal or Square, it’s a software tool that websites can connect to process online payments.
Stripe is one of the payment providers supported by 4aGoodCause.
Should you use Stripe as your payment gateway, each time a donor submits a donation on your 4aGoodCause page we securely pass their card information to Stripe for processing. Stripe will "virtually" swipe the card. If the card is accepted then a transaction ID and approval are sent back to the donation page.
Each day Stripe will batch transactions received that day, take out its fees, and send the net amount to your bank for deposit.
